More from San Antonio

Went out today and walked around. After last night's party, I'm surprised I could even get out of bed. (Can you say hangover?) It's after 4 now and I'm finally coming alive after having a big breakfast and a great buger at Pat O'Briens for lunch.

So, I have some pictures to share, mostly of the Alamo. I'm heading back out after this post and hope to get some more pics before it gets too dark. Plus the wind has come up and it's clouding over, though I don't think there is any rain in the forecast. (I hope.)

  1. My brother lives in San Antonio and takes lunch-time runs along the river walk, somewhere south, I think, where there are few tourists. I know some old ladies who talk a bus ride from here, Modesto, CA, to San Antonio, just to go on the river walk. That's why I'm going to be writing at 75, so I don't have time to go on trips like that.

  2. I took this little "vacation" to get out of town for a few days, have a little R&R. I'm also planning and plotting a new book that takes place in and around the Riverwalk, so it was a two-fold trip. (I found my "bad guy" and got some good information.) And I hope I'm still able to do the trips when I'm 75.

  3. Ah..the pub. Makes all that walking around worth it, no? Have fun! Texas is great! (Lived there for 3 years, years ago. More towards Houston, but fun place, great people.)
Ooo can't wait to see what you whip up about Riverwalk. :D
