Okay, this isn't the first time I've strayed off topic, and it probably won't be the last. I'd like to ask two questions of you and hope to get a good response.
The first question is, do you make New Year's resolutions?
Personally, I stopped a long time ago, as I always seemed to break them within the first two months of the year. I'm considering making one or two this year though. One would be to stop procrastinating so much and buckle down and get my second book finished.
The second question is, do you keep them or break them?
I hope everyone has a very Happy New Year, and remember, if you're going to drink, don't drive.
Oh, I make 'em and break 'em. Sometimes I break them really hard. For the most part, they're so completely demolished that by the end of the year, I can't even remember what they were!
ReplyDeleteBut, I think making New Years resolutions, as an exercise, is pretty useful. For me, I get a day or two of feeling reflective and hopeful at the same time. That's got to be good.
I usually do not make New Year's Resolutions, but I did this year. I have a big procrastination problem with my writing, so I have shared my goals with friends and on my blog so that I have some sort of accountability.
