Cover for Storm Warning - Help me pick

Help me choose a cover for my upcoming novel, Storm Warning - A Kelli Storm Novel. I have a basic idea of what I want, I just can't decide on the background. Below are some pictures that I believe would be fitting as a basis for the cover. Some really good photos, which is why I had such a difficult time choosing.

Vote for your favorite, or suggest a design. The first 20 voters will receive a free eBook copy, choice of format, of the book once it is in publication. (August or September 2012) I would also like to keep the same theme as the first book cover, meaning there will be an NYPD Detective badge incorporated into the design.

The contest ends at 7 P.M. CST, Sunday, July 22nd.

NOTE: Due to some confusion on the numbers, I have renumbered the pictures.

    The last one, #4 says "Big City" like NYC more than the other ones. Also the bright lightning across from the dark skyscraper is pretty cool. I do think you need to play with the cropping to get the perfect composition.

    I think #3 is the most exciting. #1 looks cooler.

    I would prefer the one from #4. The cityscape is a nice touch and I think would add well to the substance of the cover.

    Sorry, actually it is #3. I was confused by the position of the numbers in relation to the pictures.

    No worries, Serphicetica, I had a heck of a time just getting the numbers added. Something about Blogspot, or perhaps I'm just bad when it comes to adding pictures.

    On another note, to anyone voting. Please take a look at my current book cover to get an idea of what I am looking for. These photos are not going to be used as is, but rather as inspiration for the graphic artist who will be doing the cover. And please, don't vote just to get a free copy of my book. Thanks.

    I like #2 the best as cover art. But I can understand all the votes for #4, it's more Big City.

    I think #3 would be the best to blend the same elements in as your first book. Love lightning pictures - they are all great!

    Okay, it's a pretty close run between #3 and #4, if I tallied it right. #3 has four votes and #4 has three votes. Remember, voting ends this Sunday at 7 P.M. CST.

    There seems to be a blurpy thing in #4. Is it a cloud?

    I can't truly choose (no free ebook for me, by golly) because I want to see your final layout. Place your title and your byline and I'll give it another shot.

    I wouldn't use #1, though. I've seen it or its twin frequently.
